Scope

The Environmental Radiation laboratory is a research unit focusing on: 
  • applying Nuclear Physics and Environmental Sciences tools for measurements of natural and artificial radionuclides
  • controlling the air, water and soil radiological quality in various environments
  • providing measuring and research services on the regional and national levels
  • ensuring the radiological protection of the population
  • raising public awareness regarding radiological safety
